Currently (February 2019), Patricia is working on a huge elephant installation, entitled ’40 Elephants’, which will be situated in the main bar at The Great Scotland Yard Hotel, Westminster London. Weighing 59kg’s, measuring 2metres long and over a metre high, this sculpture is made of 1,000-year-old driftwood sourced from the Jurassic coasts of New Zealand. Each of the 40 elephants has been handcrafted using aluminium mesh coated with 24ct gold. The sculpture has been professionally lit with fine 1mm fibre optic threads, which will give it a mysterious glow and shadow – of which Patricia is most known for. The Great Scotland Yard Hotel forms part of The Unbound Collection of the Hyatt brand and is due to open in June 2019. The creative journey of this installation can be viewed on her instagram page
